PARSEC PA Educator Committee
Overview: The Educator Committee is dedicated to enhancing the mentorship experience of PA educators. This committee develops and currates content aimed at prospective and seasoned clinical preceptors and PA educators with a focus on resources for teaching (preceptorship, engaging students, enhancing clinical reasoning, giving feedback). This committee also facilitates PA Educator Networking opportunities and manages the PA Educator Directory.

PARSEC Research Committee
Overview: The Research Committee plays a critical role in fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation within the PARSEC community. Its responsibilities include organizing research workshops, creating articles and guides on research methodologies and findings for the website, and facilitating mentoring opportunities for PA students and professionals interested in pursuing research projects. The committee works collaboratively with the Virtual Events Committee to host initiatives such as research-focused journal clubs, funding opportunities for research grants and scholarships (for both practicing PAs and students), collaborative working groups for brainstorming and project development, and PA-led expert panel discussions. These efforts aim to promote evidence-based practice and contribute to the advancement of the broader PA research community.

Overview:
Website: This Committee is entrusted with the ongoing maintenance and updating of the PARSEC website. This includes managing membership details, integrating new articles upon request from other committees, and ensuring the website serves as a dynamic, user-friendly hub for information. The committee’s responsibilities ensure that the website accurately reflects PARSEC’s activities and resources, including updates on events, content, and membership.
Promotions:Includes the creation of engaging content and the implementation of strategies aimed at bolstering PARSEC’s presence across various social media platforms and the email newsletter, targeting members of CAPA. Responsibilities extend to digital content creation, actively engaging with PARSEC members on social media to foster a vibrant online community, and effectively communicating the organization's initiatives, events, and achievements.

PARSEC Virtual Events Committee
The Virtual Events Committee is tasked with the organization and execution of a range of online events aimed at engaging the Physician Assistant (PA) community and furthering the mission of PARSEC.
This includes various virtual activities such as PA shadowing opportunities, panel discussions with PA professionals, PA journal clubs, and live-streamed events designed to foster engagement and education within the PA community.
The committee works collaboratively with the Research Committee to host research-related events aimed to promote evidence-based practice and support PA-led innovation.
